2. Date of Birth Correction: Candidates who have identified errors in their date of birth can rectify them. However, this correction opportunity is available only once.
3. Passport Photograph Correction: If there is an error in the submitted passport photograph, it can be corrected only once.
4. Gender Correction: Corrections can be made for gender-related errors. This change may require supporting documents, and it can only be made once.
5. State/LGA Correction: Candidates can correct their state/local government area of origin, possibly by providing supporting documents. This correction can also be made only once.
6. Profile Correction: Any necessary corrections to your profile can be made once.
7. Choice of Institution/Course Correction: This service allows candidates to change their choice of course or institution. Unlike other categories, this correction can be done multiple times, with separate payments required.
How much is JAMB correction of data?
The standard price shown by JAMB on the platform is N2,500 (Two thousand Five hundred Naira).
Note: The cost for corrections related to the course/institution, names, date of birth, gender, state/LGA of origin, etc., is N2,500 show on Jamb portal, but cbt center might charge you N3,000 or more(three thousand naira only).pls ensure u do these correction on time.
Requirements for JAMB Correction of Data
You will need some requirements and document, when making changes to your data, which will be need to verify that you truly own the profile.
1. JAMB registration number: This is the first thing that you will be asked so that they can log on to your profile and confirm it’s you through the profile image/pic.
2. Email address, linked to your portal of done already
3. Phone number: The number linked to your jamb profile code.
4. N2,500 (correction fee), cbt center or cafe might add N5,00 extra fee.
5. NIN (National Identification Number) The NIN linked to your jamb profile, incase of name or date of birth error, make sure the name and date of birth on your NIN is what you want to change to, if not go to Ninc office and change your NIN details first, because the details captured on your NIN determine your Jamb details.

Procedure for JAMB Change of Course / Institution / Data
1. Go to the JAMB portal at .
https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/
2. Login with your Email and Password.
If you have not linked, your email, you will not be able to login, so first go to any jamb accredited cbt center to link your email, if you have linked your email login and follow next step below.
3. Click on ‘Registration (2023 only)’ from the list of services on the left side.
From the drop-down, select ‘2023 UTME Data Correction or 2023 DE Data Correction’ depending on what you registered for.
Then proceed with payment.
4. To complete the correction procedure after payment, go to a JAMB-authorized center or the nearest JAMB office.
