According to the management, they have been on compilation for weeks now since they received an information from JAMB that all Admission Processes for 2022/2023 should be finalized by April , 2023.
Since they know that , unizik has received the highest registration for POST UTME according to JAMB statistics as at January, 2023.
Processing Admissions for these maximum applicants won't be quick as possible. So the admission committee have decided to use the online screening method where candidates Admission would be based on O'level result grades and JAMB scores only.
They actually released the screening methodological so that these applicants will know their fate for the admission.
In regards to the Admission List for 2022/2023. The admission committee have been able to forward some list of departments that have successfully been compiled to JAMB for admission processing. These list were sent during the early hours of Saturday last week. Which we hope that it will be worked on by JAMB either this week or next week.
The admission committee further disclose, that they have also received some list back to their portal according to JAMB, the list were not up to the minimum quota required for the admission. They were directed to add more names and resubmit not later than today.
So far , some of the list are now with JAMB, more will still be sent as the compilation processes is still in progress, by the admission committee.
The admission committee has directed all departments to ensure that these list are ready before the month comes to an end so that they can know the total statistics of applicants who made it to the Merit list, before other list can be worked on.
We write to inform applicants that the 2022/2023 Admission processes has commenced . Candidates are pleased advised to upload or re-upload their O'level result to JAMB CAPS. Else they will stand a chance to loose or forfeit their admission even though their names were selected by the institution.
JAMB has the power to deny and disapprove the admission. Our strength only lies in picking or selecting the applicants that made it into the Merit list and other list and not to approved the Admission.
JAMB vets , and also approves the admission based on the complete documents seen and forwarded by the applicants.
Our Direct Entry Admission processes will commence by March. Once we are done with the Merit list. We would do some attachments and adjustment towards ensuring that Direct Entry candidates are been considered for 2022 Admission.
Applicants are pleased advised to check their JAMB CAPS for usual updates as to when JAMB decides to upload the few list we have sent so far to them.
The admission committee have tried to get some applicants details on our portal for the screening but we discovered that these applicants didn't submitted their screening form during and after editing their data. They have set aside those candidates for isolation and investigation while they work on those whose forms were successfully submitted and their scores are quite encouraging.
We hope that before the deadline date granted to UNIZIK by JAMB, they would conclude on 2022/2023 Admission processes.
