17 FOODS PREGNANT WOMEN SHOULD AVOID

Food you must not eat when pregnant|Food that are dangerous to for healthy pregnancy, can I take alcohol when pregnant? we will answer these questions in this post.

When you are pregnant, eating variety of healthy food is good for you and your baby, but however, there are some foods you should not eat when you are pregnant, because of the following reasons:

♦️Some of those foods may be contaminated with germs (bacteria and parasites), which are harmful to your body and baby.

♦️Some of those foods may tend to be low in nutrient and high in calories, sugar, salt and added fats, which are not good for your body.

♦️Those foods may contain substance that may harm your body and baby.

FOODS PREGNANT WOMEN SHOULD AVOID

1. Undercooked meat

2. Raw or undercooked egg

3. Undercooked fish, shellfish or seafoods.

4. Unpasteurized milk and dairy products

5. Unwashed fruits and vegetables

6. Alcohol

7. Herbal tea

8. Excess pineapple

9. Unripe paw paw

10. Aloe vera

11. Sesame seeds

12. Excess pepper soup

13. Excess caffeine or coffee

14. Excess sugar rich foods.

15. Highly processed food.

16. Liver product or other foods that contain high Vitamin A.

17. High Mercury fish like shark, swordfish, king mackerel, tuna, marlin.

Raw meat, fish and eggs can contain harmful germs that can give you food poisoning, like salmonella infection. Cooking them fully kills the germs, which helps keep you and your baby from getting sick.
