Are you eagerly awaiting the UNIZIK 2024/2025 cut-off marks? Stay tuned for the latest updates!

The official cut-off mark for UNIZIK in the 2023/2024 session stood at 180 and above. This standard applied to various courses offered by the institution, including Accounting, Economics, Law, and more.

However, as of now, the cut-off marks for the upcoming academic session have not been released. Keep an eye on reliable sources for timely updates on the UNIZIK cut-off marks.

Additionally, while the general JAMB cut-off mark is essential, departmental cut-off marks play a crucial role in admission decisions. UNIZIK typically keeps its departmental cut-off marks private, but any changes will be promptly communicated.

If you're a Nigerian student aiming for admission to Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), knowing and understanding the university's cut-off mark is crucial.

This benchmark represents the minimum score needed in the UTME, administered by the University management after Jamb cut-off has been made official, only students that scored above the institutional Cut-off mark are allowed to apply for any course.

The cut-off mark serves various purposes:

  • Competition Regulation: Given the large number of applicants, the cut-off mark aids in regulating competition by guaranteeing that only students who meet the minimum requirements are considered.
  • Course-Specific Criteria: As different courses entail varying levels of competition and academic requirements, the cut-off mark differs across programs, mirroring each program's competitiveness and academic rigor.
  • Admission Determination: It’s a decisive factor in the admission process, setting a threshold for evaluating and selecting qualified candidates.
E.g:  If the overall cut-off mark for UNIZIK, which qualifies a candidate for the Post UTME, stands at 180. Hence, aspiring candidates should target a minimum JAMB score of 180.

Different departments have specific cut-off marks. For example:

How To Calculate Your UNIZIK Aggregate/Average Score

You can calculate your UNIZIK aggregate cut-off mark by doing the following simple mathematics.

  1. Multiply your UNIZIK Post UTME Score by 4.
  2. Add the result from step 1 to your JAMB score.
  3. Divide the result in step 2 by 2, and that is your aggregate score.

Suppose you scored 70 in the Post-UTME and 220 in JAMB UTME:

  1. 4×70=280
  2. 280(𝑃𝑜𝑠𝑡𝑈𝑇𝑀𝐸)+220(𝐽𝐴𝑀𝐵)=500
  3. 500÷2=250

"We've decided to share this information to help aspirants make informed decisions before the POST UTME, note Departmental cut-off mark are all determined after post-utme, but below cut-off mark are got from previous year which will help you.
