2. Stay updated: At this period you need to listen to news for current affairs, if you are doing post utme for the first time, ask people that have done it before, nobody is an island, try asking questions about things you don't know.
3. Be confident: To pass post utme you have to be confident, don't listen to people that have failed it, there are a lot of people that wrote post utme once and passed it, don't nurse any atom of fear, you can be the highest, just be confident. Believe in yourself.people use to fail but you are not them, you are different. Stay gingered.
4. Be smart: On the day you will be writing your post utme, you will need to be smart in answering your questions, you will have limited time, don't waste time on a particular question, try to be time cautious, in some cases, hard questions are at the beginning while simpler ones are below, and don't let those hard questions scare you, just think, there are some questions that needs deep thinking, you just need to think well, you will get it. And that's why you need to prepare well so you won't start counting ceiling.

Arrive early: Finally, the day you will be writing your post utme, plan yourself well, get to your center earlier than the time given to you, don't be in a rush to enter the exam hall, calm down, take all the required papers along and dress well, so the examination official won't put eyes on you. Just calm down and prepare well and you will get your good score.
Requirements and Documents Required for Post UTME Screening Exercise
1. Choose the institution as the 1st choice in JAMB UTME.
2. Candidate must have minimum of 5 credit passes at relevant subjects. Including Mathematics and English language
3. Candidates MUST be sixteen (16) years of age or above, to be eligible for the exercise.
4. Candidates are required to come with a clear copy of the Photo Card printed online and pen, some university like Unidel also request for the proof of payment for your Post-utme registration.
5. Inconsistency in name or picture on registration slip is not acceptable to the University and may lead to disqualification of affected candidates.
Candidates’ names on their O’Level Certificates, UTME Results and other registration documents must be the same, if you have such issue make sure you fix it on time.
6. Mobile Phones, iPad, iPod, Walkman and similar gadgets or any extraneous materials will not be allowed into the screening venue and its environs.
7. Candidates must apply within the registration period online and are not expected to be present physically on the University Campus, but advised to register from any location.
8. Candidates must ensure that their O’Level results are uploaded to the JAMB website as soon as possible, as those who do not will not be considered for admission.
9. Candidates must ensure that they register with their own valid personal telephone (GSM) numbers and email addresses.
10. Candidates must report to the designated Screening Venues at the time scheduled on the Photo Card or schedule board to avoid disqualification.
