Getting a good Laptop can be stressful, If you don't have technical knowledge about laptop and if you are afraid to waste your savings getting the wrong laptop.

Getting a wrong laptop can be frustrating, as it will not be able to meet your requirements of your job.  First thing to consider before choosing a laptop is the nature of job you will be needing it for and next Your budget.

Below is a guide to some basic important things to consider, when purchasing Your dream Laptop:

1. 𝗕𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗬 CAPACITY.

How long your Laptop lasts after full charge is very important!

Because It determines the overall health of your laptop.

𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱:

This country is already hard, and you don't want to make things harder for yourself!

Buying a laptop you can't use for up to 𝟮𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 in Battery Life will frustrate you in this country!

Next.

2. 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗢𝗥 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗘𝗗 (usually Expressed in GHz)

In this modern age, It is advisable you get a laptop with a Processor of 𝟯𝗚𝗛𝘇 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘃𝗲

2.5GHz is not bad if you're on a Budget!

By all means, go for 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹, due to fixing and other software issues that might arise in the future.

Intel corei3, corei5 corei7, corei9 etc, these are all okay if you can afford any of them!

 I personally recommend i5 upwards

If you intend to use your Laptop for 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗗𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 and 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴, you should go for Nvidia Processors (RTx Series)

𝗛𝗣 is also a good brand!

But don't ignore other brands like 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗹 etc.

For me I love the Hp Elitebook fast and portable.

3. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗔𝗠! ( Random access Memory)

By all means, don't buy a system with less than 𝟰𝗴𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗔𝗠.

You might not be able to manage it!

Browsing just the web is getting even complicated and some websites won't load properly or fast if your laptop doesn't meet some 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀!

Web Technologies are becoming sophisticated, not to talk of Softwares that pretty much consume almost all of your Computer Resources!

𝟰𝗚𝗕 𝗥𝗔𝗠 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘃𝗲, that should be your goal.

4. 𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻-𝘀𝗶𝘇𝗲.

Well, It depends on your needs!

If you are going to do design heavy work, it's recommended you get a large screen!

Aside that, any other thing could work!

If you need a Big Screen, it is recommended that your get a 𝗟𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆 (Monitor).

5. 𝗞𝗲𝘆𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀

Buying a Laptop with no keyboard lights is a total bad idea!

Most people I know work with their laptops at night!

Even 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀, so you want to make sure you're getting a laptop with keyboard Lights!

It's very necessary

6. 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝟭𝟭 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲!

Unless you're going for a Mac, it's very important for your Laptop to be compatible with Windows 11.

I have heard a lot of testimonies about the 𝗨𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝟭𝟭, and I think it's something everyone with a PC should be using!

And also, make sure that it comes with it, if possible.

7. 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗔𝗚𝗘 𝗦𝗣𝗔𝗖𝗘

Highly depends on your needs, but it should be 25𝟬𝗚𝗕  is a good storage if you are buying SSD 𝗮𝗻𝗱 but consider 500gb  𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘃𝗲 if buying HDD!

You can get a HDD but SSDs are usually fast but expensive, For me I recommend SSD Storage anytime any day.!

1TB is not bad, but it's not necessary!

8. 𝗪𝗶𝗳𝗶 & 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝘀𝗽𝗼𝘁

If you're not getting a New System, this is something you need to pay attention to!

Most fairly used Systems usually come with 𝗕𝗮𝗱 𝗪𝗶𝗳𝗶 & 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝘀𝗽𝗼𝘁 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀!

It could be repaired but you don't want to stress yourself when you can pick a better one in the first Place!

9. 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘁𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵

Another important thing, not for sharing files but 𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 like:

Wireless Keyboard

Wireless Mouse etc.

You want to make sure that the Bluetooth Driver is working properly!

10. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗕𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁?

If you're planning to buy a Comfortable Laptop, 150K  and above should be your goal!

If you really want the best experience, and in most cases, it is going to be more expensive!

For me though, 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗣𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗮 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲!

Also check for number of Ports available and also if they're working.

Don't forget to check if the Webcam if it is working and also if it is of good Quality (for your Video Calls, Streaming and Zoom Meetings).
